We will absolutely be back to the Blue Marlin Suite on Grafton Beach in the future. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. I love that this is an end unit and has even more windows than another beautiful suite we had stayed in previously. The kitchen is well stocked if you wish to dine in, but it is close to many of my favorite restaurants, Seahorse, Z’s Grill Shack, Fish Pot, La Tartaruga, so we enjoyed the favorites instead. If it’s your first time to Tobago, Grafton Beach is a lovely place to stay and the cove just outside the apartment provides great snorkeling and a sheltered place to stand in the shallow waters and avoid the waves. As you walk through the door you are greeted with a grand entry hall and high ceilings. Being an end unit, it is more spacious than some of the other units. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, a variety of drinking glasses, pots & dishes. The lovely dining and living room areas, looked out onto the big patio overlooking the gorgeous ocean. The bedrooms were very comfortable and adequate for our needs. We especially liked that one of the rooms had twin beds, which worked well for our family. The master bedroom had a beautiful sea view from the master bed. All 3 bathrooms were clean, shower heads were strong and adequate towels, including beach towels, were provided. The unit had a barbeque pit, for a nominal fee, which was refunded upon departure and comes with a washer, dryer and housekeeping service, which was very much appreciated. Communications, with the property manager, were excellent. Liz was quick to respond to emails with very detailed instructions and advice. She met us at the unit during the checking in and out process. She even went above and beyond in assisting us to retrieve an item, which we left behind, when we checked out and we were very grateful for her help. There was a parking space, which was convenient for us. The property grounds were gorgeous. The pool was clean and lots of fun. The best part, was the easy access to the expansive beach with the beautiful sunset. Some days the water was rough, but that comes with the time of year we visited. My only complaint is having to write this review to let others know about this wonderful gem in sweet Tobago, which I would rather keep a secret. Looking forward to many more vacations there.

December 2025,Returning to Blue Marlin for the third time felt like coming home. After our August stay, we knew we had to spend Christmas here again, the magic of this place is simply irresistible. This majestic Stone Haven Bay continues to captivate us with its natural Black Rock beauty: the mineralised black sands, the shimmering waters, and the breathtaking contrast of calm snorkeling coves to the right, with gentle waves for cautious bathers, and livelier surf further along the shore for those who crave adventure. My husband delighted in the rolling waves, while the kids were overjoyed jumping waves, playing in the sand, and splashing endlessly in the perfectly designed shallow pool. There is an unmatched freedom here stepping straight onto the beach, escaping for a quiet sea bath without ever starting a car, running along the coastline as the waves crash beside you, framed by dramatic rock formations and sunsets that steal your breath away. Nearby beachside restaurants and our favourite Ice Cream just minutes away added to the joy of our stay, but it is the feeling of comfort, warmth, and belonging that truly defines Blue Marlin. Third time truly was the charm and leaving is bittersweet. We carry home treasured memories of time well spent with loved ones and deep gratitude to Liz for her kindness and attentiveness, and to the owner for so generously sharing this beautiful home with us once again. Wow Location, location, location meters from the Beach. After some searching for a 'perfect' Apartment for my three sisters, my wife and I we found the Chaconia Suite. It's one of eight apartments within the Black Rock Dreams Complex. The apartment is spacious and well designed with a modern fully furnished kitchen. The rooms and washrooms were very clean. We enjoyed the large balcony with gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea everyday. The property was beautifully landscaped with very easy access to Beach. We did early morning (6:00) walks everyday on the beach, what a treat!!! The magical sunrise, meeting the locals some fishing, walking and swimming. Liz, the property manager made the booking very easy and made us feel welcome. Thank you very much!!! i will keep in contact as we are planning a huge Family reunion in 2027.

Myself and family (wife and 2 teenage boys) stayed at the Blue Marlin in Tobago 3rd July to 6th July, 2024 and could not have been happier with our stay. Liz provided turn by turn directions from the airport and met us at the villa to welcome us and give us a guided tour of the property. Blue Marlin is a 3 bedroom villa on the first floor and is fully equipped with everything needed. Private parking, beach towels, direct access to beach from property, swimming pool and, in my opinion, best of all, a balcony overlooking the Caribbean which was a perfect place to relax in the evening as the sun went down. The property is very close to 2 excellent restaurants, The Seahorse (2 minute walk) and Fish Pots (2 minute drive) and supermarkets for day to day groceries are also within close proximity. Other recommendations would be Englishman's Bay and the bioluminescence tour by Radical Sports at Pigeon Point beach. We would definitely stay at Blackrock dreams next time we visit Tobago.

When we arrived late (due to flights) into the evening Liz was nevertheless there to welcome us and take us through the apartment details. We were impressed by the cleanliness and how much was provided (fresh linen, bath and beach towels, full kitchen utensils for us to cook all sorts of meals, efficient Wifi, allowing one of us to work remotely). The beds and bedrooms were inviting and the living space large and relaxed, made even more comfortable with ceiling fans and air conditioning. The enormous terrace overlooks the pool and the beach – with plenty of seating and sidetables to enjoy ‘sundowners’ during the gorgeous sunsets. The apartment is only minutes’ walking distance to several excellent restaurants and fruit & veg stalls. There is also beautiful snorkelling at one end of Stonehaven Bay. A major highlight for us was being lucky enough to witness a giant leatherback turtle laying her eggs at the other end of the bay. We enjoyed our two weeks at Blue Marlin enormously and would thoroughly recommend it for a heavenly holiday.

We had such a brilliant time on our 5th trip to Tobago, which is still a really unspoilt relaxed and friendly place. This was our 3rd stay in Blue Marlin, at Black Rock Dreams, and it was truly fantastic. It is a very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped property, in an incredible position right on Grafton Beach, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The large balcony is the perfect place for the whole family to sit and listen to the waves, watch the wildlife (including hummingbirds) and enjoy stunning sunsets. Some of our favourite restaurants (The Fish Pot, Edge of The Reef and Seahorse) are within minutes of Blue Marlin, and there’s great snorkeling around the rocks at the end of the beach. The property manager, Liz, was super helpful with queries and arranging of car hire in the run up to our holiday. She met us on arrival to give us lots of advice re the property / island and was always around / contactable to help with anything we needed. Cannot wait to return!!

Blue Marlin was bright and spacious with a beautiful beach view and fantastic sunsets! The property manager Liz, was friendly and accomodating and ensured that our stay was hassel free. Lenore from housekeeping maintained our suite in a spotless manner. Snorkelling at your doorstep was a welcomed bonus not to mention the sight of many birds from the balcony. We had a lovely time just before Christmas staying in the Blue Marlin suite. The view as soon as you walk in is truly breathtaking; we loved being able to open up the huge doors and enjoy the sunset. The suite has a really comprehensive list of recommended restaurants and we found it so useful to consult before dinner - the best meal we had was only 5 min away and was on this list! We had a total of 5 adults and while the queen bedroom is quite small compared to the size of the suite, everyone was comfortable. A great location, close to everything we needed, and a really nice pool area when the waves were too rough to swim in. Overall we had a really lovely stay that felt remarkably private despite being right on the beach!

The Blue Marlin Apartment is absolutely gorgeous and the view is simply breathtaking! Our family was delighted to have stayed there. For the early birds in our group, the beachfront location was perfect for morning walks and sea baths. At this particular beach, the fisherfolk did beach seines and we always looked forward to see what they brought in. Liz is a gem of a host! She was so accommodating and made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible (even popping by with mangoes one day). We had a wonderful time at Blue Marlin and I would definitely recommend to future guests;)

Blue Marlin was an absolute dream to stay at in Tobago. Liz was lovely and easy to communicate with and greets you upon arrival. The apartment is spacious, clean and very comfortable with the most amazing views of the beach and the sound of waves crashing was a highlight. The garden and pool area is beautiful and perfect for kids and the beach at your doorstep is really lovely. Its in a quiet area, but everything you need is a few minutes walk or drive away. Blue Marlin is now my go to Tobago vacation rental, thanks again Liz!

Blue Marlin is the definition of luxurious, modern and beautiful. It's situated on one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches in Tobago. Falling asleep and waking up to the waves was absolutely heavenly. Blue Marlin was our home away from home-clean, spacious and fully furnished! The grounds and pool are well kept and the property is well secured. Our toddler thoroughly enjoyed the pool during his stay, which has a kiddie section especially for the little ones! My family and I stayed at the beautiful and luxurious Blue Marlin suite. We felt at home away from home. I particularly enjoyed sleeping while hearing the waves break (great therapy). The suite was very clean, well maintained and spacious for my family of 6. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the open plan kitchen, dining room and mostly the verandah which was breathtaking. My favorite time of the day was early morning ? as we enjoyed watching the fishermen pull their seine while also enjoying the crisp fresh air. The kids also enjoyed the beautiful pool, which is also awesome site for sunset photo shoot ? Thank you Liz, you were very helpful and ensured we were comfortable. I look forward to next trip.

My Family and I stayed at Blue Marlin Suite and it was the BEST VACATION we had in Tobago. Blue Marlin Suite is in a nice location and you can wake up to an amazing view from the balcony. The Suite is luxurious , spacious and most importantly very well maintained and clean. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and cutlery required for a comfortable stay. Blue Marlin is a modern villa overlooking the famous Grafton Beach. Upon arrival, the property manager (Liz) will be there to greet you and give you a brief tour of both the property and premises. The villa exceeded our expectations and believe me, my standards are high... very high! The villa is exceptionally clean with housekeeping everyday except on public holidays. The spacious kitchen has stainless steel appliances and every tool imaginable to make cooking easy. The master bedroom overlooks the beach and you can hear the waves crashing upon the shore from the bedroom. My favourite spot was the porch area. Picture the vast stretch of ocean and unforgettable sunsets at your doorsteps. Need I say more!!! Liz is also the perfect host and if you encounter any problems or need general information, she is more than willing to assist. Will definitely be back. Five stars.

My family and I stayed at Blue Marlin for 5 days and we wish we could have stayed longer! We truly felt like we were on holiday. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and fit my family of 5 with lots of room to spare. The housekeeper, Lenore was wonderful and so sweet. The view is stunning and we loved that Grafton beach is just footsteps away. My grandson loved being down by the pool. Liz was amazing and a pleasure to be in touch with. We will definitely be back hopefully soon and we only want to stay in Black Rock Dreams.
